Our names are Royce and Saori,
We have recently just switched from Sailboats to Power. Saori, my wife, was having a hard time with sea sickness in the sailboat so a slightly used SRX 176 has come into our lives. The boat was kept in perfect condition and had only 82 hrs on her after three years. Normally boats on the island lead a rough life and look much older than they are. This one however went from one garage to our garage and will continue to be spoiled in her upkeep. I am happy to announce that the wifes sea sickness is all gone and we look forward to many comfortable years in our new Sea Ray. I personally look forward to asking many questions and taking full advantage of the knowledge of this site.

Royce

Welcome,
where do you boat in Hawaii? I always thought the Pacific Ocean around Hawaii had huge waves?

Are you in the military. Based on your avatar looks like you might be in the navy!

Thanks for the welcome.

I am no longer in the Navy (retired) but I do work for them (hence the avitar). I will boat mostly in Kaneohe Bay. It is probably one of the most beautiful spots on the island. It is also protected from the surf. There are many safe spots to boat in a small boat you just have to use common sense and a GPS to ensure you stay off the reefs. I am pretty familiar with where to stay away from since I have been sailing here for the past two years. I will try to post pictures as our power boat adventure unfolds. I really enjoy the pics everyone here has posted.
