Alexandria Bay points of interest?

A few of us are heading up to Alexandria Bay Oct. 6 & 7.
Anyone have some great spots or things to do I should know about?
P.S. Not taking the boat
so if anyone here on the forum is there this weekend and would like to take us for a ride...;o)

Boldt Castle is the big "attraction" there. You'll wish you had your DA - the St. Lawerence is pretty amazing - crystal clear, and you are right across the river from Canada a bit further north. And (of course) you'll want to swing by Hutchinson's Boat Works - the best Sea Ray Dealer I've ever encountered (check out their webcam at www.hutchinsonsboatworks.com - you can make out the castle). Have a blast!

We plan on the "Uncle Sam" 2 hr. cruise and going to the castle. But the Hutchinson's Boat Works sounds like a great stop.

So....we just got home from Alexandria Bay. It was a great time except for a little rain.
We never did make it to Hutchinson's Boat Works, but we did see alot of Sea Rays. I mean a lot of Sea Rays. Are there any folks here on the forum from up there? If not, I'm surprised.
