Was getting the boat ready for launch. When I connected up the port batteries as soon as I touched the negative cable to complete the circuit an alarm sounded. Since both battery switches were off and the ignition breakers were off I don't believe it was anything related to engines. But it sounded just like the same alarm you hear when you start.

So I left the batteries disconnected.

Today it dawned on me that it had to be coming from the dash and it must have been from the LED panel on the dash.

Since the battery switches were off I imagine it was the high water alarm. I never noticed, but I would bet that the actuator on the high water alarm was flipped up or or course with my luck broken.

So could it be any other alarm?

It was not the CO detector as I checked that...

Would it be related to the Macerator? If the sea cock is open is that alarmed???

Thanks for any thoughts. As I am an hour away I just can't run down and look..

Found it. Hooked up the battery and looked at the annunciation panel at the dash and the generator shutdown alarm was on!!! So went down to the panel and the switch was on, turned it off and cleared the alarm...

Just closing the loop...
