Air Show Sunday 4/19 Lake MurrAy

Anyone going to be on the water this Sunday afternoon.( LAKE Murray) Thought I would check it out and see what its all about. Also will be a good time to check the boat out after all the work that I've been doing, since fall. Nicky

The water was nice, the weather was a little cool, but all in all a good day. The Air Show consisted of 2 planes flying over BOMB ISLAND, 1 time. It was the reunion of the DOLITTLE RAIDERS, they trained in Columbia SC . There are 9 members still alive, the youngest is 88. The paper said that 6 of them came to Columbia SC.
After a breif refresher course on WW2 history, I appreciate the B25 that flew over, also there was a small plane of some sort, looked like the planes on the TV show Black Sheep.
Lake Murray and Owens Field played a vital part in the turning of the war. That is something we should not forget. And am proud to honor the remaining members of the DOLITTLE RAIDERS. Nicky

Thanks for the outcomes post. We looked up an air show and couldnot find any info so hung around home Sun. Did get out finally Sat though on the Waccamaw-Conway to north on ICW. Beautiful day and not crowded!

Thanks for the post, I really wanted to go, I'm only 5 minutes away by water, but I couldn't get out of something I committed to before I heard about it.
