I have a Mercury 270 air deck that has developed an air link in the aft starboard chamber. Because it is at the main seam, I am guessing a repair is impossible.

Anyone have any experience with this? Or is my dink doomed?

I had same problem, all attempts to patch or glue failed. Since I considered it doomed I tried THIS: find exact hole and circle, deflate and use air pump to vacuum out air, while still under vacuum use crazy glue in leak, so it creeps into leak hole and apply pressure. let cure couple hours.. This held up for years.

Gorilla brand super glue. i like the gel as it seems to be easier to smudge into the tight spaces. the regular super glue runs too much and makes a mess. plus the gel allows you to glue while some pressure remains in the chambers sometimes making manipulation easier. ive never glued the same place twice.

Try TubeSeal from
inflatbleboatparts.com

works wonders

Take valve out pour in replace valve
blow up and roll dingy around

seals holes from inside

I have actually used that product before, but it is not recommended for leaks at the seams and this one is rather large.
