Having issues with signaltone air horns, boat has newer compressor and seems to have good airflow, looks like someone has been inside ends of horns and messed with gaskets and diaphragms. I'm told there are rebuild kits but cant seem to source them. Any ideas? . Thanks!

You didn't mention the kind of issues you're having but if someone has been in there before you, they may have messed up a gasket or diaphragm.

I had a problem with my air horns on my 330. I took 'em apart, being careful to photo where screws and things were. I cleaned the diaphragms and gaskets, put a little oil on the gaskets for a better seal and reassembled everything and they worked fine.

Sorry, compressor runs, moves air ,no horn noise, someone looks to have tried to make gaskets and diaphragms .. would like to start with new stuff. Compressor appears new?? how much Air is enough? thx.

Mine was full of cobwebs, once they were removed it worked fine. It doesn't take very much air to answer your question.

I cleaned mine out as well. Small screws, thin diaphragm. Not difficult to do but take them off the boat to the work bench, and take your time disassembling, cleaning and reassembling the internals. If the parts are ok, the air line is clear and the pump is good, you should get it working.

the problem is they are clean and have air, someone screwed up the internals, tried to make gaskets. im looking for the source for new internals, rebuild kits perhaps??

I called AFI tech support and they sent me a couple of complementary spare diaphragms.
