Air Conditioning install on a '96 250 DA

Ooops. Had this in the wrong forum. This is where it belongs. Anyway, click on the link to see the photos. I lost a fair amount of storage space but the trade off works for us. The only thing you don't see in the photos is the vent just aft of the galley which blows into the mid cabin berth. You also don't see the last step which was installing a sump pump and a through hull which is under the V-berth. That pumps the condensation out. Bottom line, It's in the low 90s here but in the cabin, it's a cool 77.

It's a 9000 BTU Ocean Breeze unit. It was about $2350 parts and labor. Originally the condensation line was draining into the forward bilge. That was a problem as there was no pump there. So the marina installed the sump, pump and through hull (at their expense) under the V-Berth to rectify that . I'm particularly happy with the position of the vents. One toward the V-Berth, the other into the mid cabin berth.
