Air conditioning filter

How do you get access to clean this filter? Is there a way to remove the return-air grill to get to filter?

Mine is on 4 little concealed plastic clips. Just the center louver is removed not the entire frame as you would expect.Lift it from the bottom near the 2 upright louver supports and slide it towards you. Hope this helps.
