Hi All,

I have 3 AC's on board. When the master AC kicks on I get a ground hum in the 12v salon stereo amp. When either of the other 2 AC's kick on, this does not happen. I've check at the grounds and all are good. Any idea on how to fix?

Thanks for the help.

What is good about the ground? Specifically, what did you eliminate during the check? Is there a voltage drop, proper gauge. Cables terminated to the most ideal spot. All the same hold true for the amp's B+, dont overlook it. Is the hum entering pre-amp or post amp? The cause can just as easily be the AC unit.

Sometimes it can be a matter of wire routing. For example an AC line running parallel to a dc feed can induce hum in audio equipment.
