Aha! So that's what the ice-scrapper is for.

In the trunk of whatever crappy car I moved from Michigan to Florida with 25 years ago was a nearly new, heavy duty, red plastic ice-scrapper. Not one to ever throw any potentially useful object away, I kept the thing handy over the years. Anyway, I just noticed that the new plastic floating dock section I bought was getting barnacles on it after a several months in the water. I was thinking about how best to knock them off without damaging it, what would be the proper tool. Turned out that I had just the thing and knew right where it was.

Am I the only guy here who would keep his old ice-scraper handy for 25 years before finding a use for it or are there other pack-rats out there who read this forum? Just wondering.

.... No , i got tired of feeding her.

Pretty cool story. If you kept your snow blower I'd say you had a problem though.

I just gave a truckload of crap (cleaning out the garage), to my father in law. He looked like a kid on Christmas. I'm sure some time next week I'll need one of the items I kept for years but finally gave away.

Its incredible the things you keep. I am at the point where I just want to throw it all away. The only problem is finding the time and where to throw it. Its frustrating !!
