Sorry to bring this up again. I have done tons of research almost feel like theirs too much info on the topic. Need to know a few things
1. In 1996 was the 330 was affected by this issue. I have 7.4 Blue water MPI inboards (something to due to cam lapping for better fuel economy / underwater exhuast)
2. Also will the 3" spacers fix the problem? if this was a issue
3. i read that i need to put in plastic spacers in the exhaust tubes where can i buy these things did some googleing can't find anything plastic don't want to overheat the motor if its the wrong one
4. does the top of the riser needs to be 13" above water line true of false?
reason for all the questions is i did a re-power last year and when i put the boat in this year had stuck valves on the starboard motor port side (2 middles ones). Started measuring exhuast tube angles each motor outer tube had about 15 degrees of pitch but in the inner tubs only have about 5 degrees.
