After a couple days on the water...

It also happens if you spend a few days on your boat then move to a boat with a different beam width. The roll rate of the two boats will be different and it takes your brain a bit of time to adjust to the movement of the new boat. RollerCoaster nailed it...it's called getting your "sea legs".

Wow, this is exactly when I had it bad!! What a coincidence. Mine was Monday morning after a weekend on the boat and I was falling into the walls in the shower! Very disorienting.

When did the 2 of you start showering together?

I have noticed the same thing. We just spent 7 nights on the boat. Went back to work on Monday, and while I was sitting on my desk chair, I still felt like I was rocking.

I think I notice it the worst when I go up to the marina head and stand at the urinal. Trying to jet-stream that cig butt is much harder when you're rocking from side to side. As said, it usually lasts a couple of days and then slowly recedes. I like the idea of a boating prescription though.....

Thank you all for your input. The admiral tried less drowsy Dramamine. She took one the morning we were going out
then a second one the next morning. We stayed all that day too and came home late that evening.
Much better! I didn't hear one complaint.
