After an awful lot of thought, here is how I resolved the shade issue. I wanted to keep the lines of the boat, so camper canvas was out of the question. The aft canvas was extended about 2' longer then the existing factory canvas and required a new bow and 2 down supporting poles, which actually makes it easier to get up on the sides. I had all the canvas replaced, new windows are Stratoglass and I'm still able to use the factory set up for spring and fall (when the boat is on the hard). I thought i had a better picture, sorry.
