Advice on purchasing 34" 2000 Sea Ray 340 Sundancer

I am looking at this boat our of state and will be having it shipped to Washington. Any suggestion on this specific boat, what to look for, questions to ask, must have accessories.

I used to own that model. Both 7.4's and 8.1's are good engines. You will want a hull and engine survey. Also a generator is great to have for A/C and heat. Good luck on your search.

The problem with the 34" is that there isn't much room to do anything. I'd look for something larger.

1. exhaust should be the newer 'water lift muffler' design (vs. original 'log' style)
2. no soft spots on deck from water intrusion

both very common issues for this era boat.....
