Advice on how to replace broken switch panel switches 268 Searay Sundancer 1986

Some of the switches need to be replaced because the plastic nut that held them in place has deteriorated or the housing of the switch itself.

Question I have is: It looks like the switch panel that is below the steering wheel should come off so that I can have easy access to all the wiring. But when I look thru the access panel in the bathroom for this I only can see 1 screw on the far right (when looking from access panel).

Is there a way to detach this panel to get easy access to the switches and wiring?

Can't you get to the back of that panel from the head? My 1981 you could.

yes, but no easy way to get my hands to the switches.
