Advice for refastening screw portion of canvas snap

I bought from Rochford Supply as per Todd's post, but they were $19 and change for 100 pcs., plus $13 and change for shipping. That is where I came up with $33.

I ordered several different sets at a time with the same shipping charge so it was more cost effective, but their product is good.

Nope, I've used this platic wall anchors for years. They really work, especially on wallowed out screw holes. Size the anchor to the hole, RTV the hole, tap in the anchor, RTV the threads on the snap screw and drive in. Shazam, your done. That fix will hold as long as anything else you cobble together. Try it, you'll like it.

Now this is for canvas snaps and not life lines understood!

I would either try the #10 size if the #8 pulled out. I would think there is peripheral damage though, but if that didn't work, repair the hole with epoxy and gel coat and redrill for a replacement stud.
