I just picked up an AC-300, anyone else using one of these as a dinghy?

A couple more shots of the dinghy installed on the boat.

I used the Weaver 4" davits:

and a pivoting outboard motor mount:

to install it.

:smt018 What a "ASSHO@#" thing to say!!!!!!

I wouldn't spend much time worrying about it. Based on the proprietors response to other derogatory comments in another thread this kind of response appears to be pretty much condoned if not encouraged.

You can think you have class by owning a Sea Ray but it doesn't mean you do.

The only person I know with the name Lance is a guy that ended up with the nickname "No Pants Lance." If you need some insight, go check out Penn State... That's where he's from.

Thanks for the generalization newbie. BTW why don't you put your money where your mouth is and become a sponsor?

Where does this statement come from? I see nothing prior to this post that has anything to do with sex.
BTW, other than being a huge wind drag on the boat with the canvas off, I like the dinghy and motor mount.

Yes, I suppose it will slow me down a bit but its going to be so much fun to go explore those little bays and be able to anchor out and go to shore if we want to. One other benefit is as an escape pod in an emergency (God forbid). We are heading to Canada next year as far north as Princess Louisa Inlet plis_35T.jpg and there is some big water between here and there.
