My boat needs trim tabs and I'm wondering who has installed them and who's tabs are the best for the money. This will be one of many winter projects for the boat. Thanks in advance.

The Bennett's aren't "hard" - it depends on your skill set. But there is certainly more work to be done up against the inside of the transom wall. But there is no plumbing at all for the Lenco's. They're self contained.
Take a look at their website, you can probably download an instruction manual.
Have the factory hydraulic tabs on my 260 of course, but I did install Lenco electric Tabs on my Boston Whaler Center Console. The installation was very easy - took me only a couple of hours to mount the tabs, run the electrical and mount the control switch on my console. They work great. They use an internal screw shaft design that keeps the tab in whatever position you set it very well. One thing I like a lot about these tabs is that when you turn off the ignition, the tabs automatically reset to the full up (non-deployed) position.
Yep. :smt038Bennett tabs- and only Bennett tabs...
