I have read so many posts on fogging fuel injected motors. Some say just add stabilizer and some tie into the fuel line with a t and a separate fuel mixture. The 3rd I heard is just dropping the fuel filter and adding marvel mystery oil into the fuel filter and running the engine. If I have a regular fuel filter (One that I will replace now or in the spring - can and how do I do this?

Do I add X number of ounces into the fuel filter and run the engine on fresh water (boat already out of the water) - then flush with antifreeze after?

The fuel filter/water separator holds about 12 ozs. I mixed 2 ozs. of 2-stroke oil with 10 ozs. gas with a splash of stabilizer and added that to the fuel filter. Run the engine for 5 minutes at 1200-1300 RPM and shut it down.

I am not sure how well Marvel Mystery Oil would work for a fogging oil.

+1. This is the way to do it. 2 oz of 2cycle oil, 2 oz of stabilizer, fill with gas and run 5 mins.
