Has anyone added grab rails to the bow as seen in the picture below? If so, did you bolt through the headliner? I am not sure you can get the headliner down to bolt through and then get the headliner back up without a lot of work.

My wife likes to lay on the bow on a pad and commented how nice it would be to have a grab rail to assist getting up and in case of rogue waves (for us these usually come from rogue boats).

I think on your boat headliner is glued to deck. Easiest way would be to to go right trough vinyl and install some finishing caps over screw heads (sea ray used this on some models).

thanks for the info. I was planing on the stainless steel grab rails. I have installed them on my dock poles to assist in boarding the boat. The bath products look too ghetto in my opinion.

I was wondering about the method of attachment and waterproofing. My headliner may in fact be glued on which is not a lot of fun to replace. I am not sure about how I would like the look of bolt throughs in the cabin interior. Hmm...

Like Boatmailster said. Caps. Small, button style usually snaps over a screw head. Some Sea Rays have a ~2" disc (covered in the same material as the headliner) that fits over the 3 bolts coming through for the deck rail mounts.
