My 2002 3.0L doesnt have the engine alarm for water temp/oil pressure/drive lube. Does anyone know of a kit or the parts to add it? I know it was an option, and it looks like the wires are already in the harness. I get worried I could loose cooling and without hawking the temp gauge, I could miss it until its too late.

lowrance makes a system with a bunch of sensors letterd ep + a number. they connect to a nema 2000 network that have screw together, multi pin connectors. You can view them through your gps, fishfinder, chartplotter if it's set up for it or a (small) lmf 200 display or a larger lmf 400 display. I installed the lmf 400 display with a ep60 fuel sensor on my boat. It works like a flow scan unit, total fuel burned, how much you are burning and how much you have left, also has an audiable alarm. The cool thing is you can hook up a bunch of sensors to the same display, at the same time, water temp, oil temp, bait tank temp, gps speed, oil pressure, etc. All could be alarmed, with a buzzer. To add sensors you screw on a tee and run some wires and it's good to go. So far I like the fuel sensor, but don't know weather I'm going to add any more. Check out the lowrance web site, Hope this helps.
