Adding cockpit TV? How to mount?

I just have it...lol I haven't had time to do anything with it yet!

I still think I'm going to use the Seasucker and retro-fit the mounting arm to it. I want to mount it on the starboard side radar arch but don't want to mount it permanently or drill holes.

Scott....do you (or anyone else with the Sea Ray mount) know the depth of the base? How much clearance is needed below the mounting suface? Also, with the pole installed in the base, how high are the bottom holes from the surface. I am trying to compare this mount to the one that FPMARINE has listed. I am kind of leaning towards the Sea Ray mount because the pole is straight. The TV mount from FPMARINE, has a curved pole.

Scott...1 more question. Did you install the base with screws or did you use small bolts?

I used screws, just be sure to counter sink the holes after you drill, so that you don't get cracks in the gel coat.

Thanks Scott. I am a little confused by your statement to counter sink the holes.....I think where I am going to mount my base, is similar to yours, and the fiberglass is maybe 1/4" thick (at most) there. So how did you counter sink?
