Adding cockpit TV? How to mount?

I am new to the cruiser lifestyle. I just upgraded to a 2008 290DA. I am interested in how to mount a cockpit TV. What type of mount is common? I want something where I can put the TV below in the cabin when we are not anchored. Thanks. I tried to search, but there were too many hits with the terms "add" and "TV".

Please post pics as well, if you can.

Very nice. What size TV is that? Is it custom or did you buy the bracket (link?)?

My mount is very similar. I bought the mount and mounting receptacle from the 48Da. The plate fits the back of most standard tvs.

Thank you. I will have to look into how much the mount costs. Also, I'll have to check the wet bar area to see if there is a place that will accomodate the mount. Is it only a few inches deep? I have the cockpit fridge under the wet bar and don't have any idea how much clearance there is between the fridge top and the wet bar bottom.

That is a BANG for the buck! I looked for months and couldn't find one like that for less than about $300 all in. For some pictures, look at the official 380 thread, roughly number 350. Several guys did it.

I looked at this last year - the SR part numbers and prices I had were: Mount w/ Pole 1807962 ($130) ; Base 1807963 ($139); Grommet 1013762 ($12). So the whole package mentioned earlier at $130 seems to be a good buy ...

Note: at least from what I did not find, was a reference to the weight the $130.00 item supported.

There is a good bit of difference from a 23 inch to a 32 inch TV in weight.

Thank you! This looks like it may work. The only things I have to look at now are the clearance under the wet bar top above the cockpit fridge and TV sizes. Only 9" to the bottom of the mount (which would be near the middle of a TV) will limit the size TVs that can be installed. I'll have to start looking at that to see.

Very nice install. Was this aftermarket or factory? I will also need to look at power options at that location.

I used a swing mount on the port-side arch to mount a 19" TV that stores in the aft cabin - just purchased an additional mount and mounted it to the stairway pole.

I called them today, and they told me if they had the SR parts numbers they could compare them. So I emailed them tonight with those numbers.
