Given that my wife and I are heading out on a three week trip and the fact that I have a job again I decided to replace the ice box in my boat with a fridge. I ordered an Isotherm cruise 49 and got it in about a week. Sometimes the postal service amazes me.
So I pulled the ice box and found that the new fridge didn’t quite fit. It was too small for the opening and also was about half an inch too deep.
So I went out to the workshop and planed down a piece of teak to make a frame.
And installed the fridge in the new correct sized opening.
Once that was finished I decided I had to provide some way to mount the microwave.
So back to the workshop to make some more sawdust and a shelf for the microwave.
With some teak still left over I decided to make a way to cover the cup holder holes in the dash to provide a way to mount the new GPS and radio.
