Adding 2nd remote to Sony Stereo

I'd like to add a second remote control near the rear of the cockpit. Anyone done this? Can a second one be added? Radio model and remote commander model numbers attached.

A lot of the sport boats we have in the showroom (same radio as yours) have the second remote. It was an option when the boat was originally built. The remotes that come as the "second" remotes do not have a display, but that's not to say that you can't use an identical remote as your existing - I just don't know the answer to that, that's all. I suspect the manual for your radio would have the info.

I have one of the sony remotes brand new in the box. I was going to do the same thing but I sold the boat before I got around to doing it.
