We've got a 2006 44' Dancer and wanted to add some extra TV living space for those quiet evenings. So I added an HDMI cable to the cockpit area for HDTV. Picked up a 24" HDTV and hooked it up on the weekend.
Basically what I did was find the old coax cable and attach the HDMI cable to it and pulled it through at the back of the glove box, then down behind the light switch to the lower cabin area. The cable was pushed under the stairs to the receiver.
I wouldn't say it was easy. Running a cable usually takes a short time but it took us about 3 hours to run that cable into those small tiny spaces.
However it was worth it to add our only HDTV on the boat.
