just added cockpit a/c, anyway dc fan, it really makes a big difference getting some airflow thru the no wakes

That looks nice and it does help to have that airflow doesn't it. Does that fan also oscillate?

If you want a fan that is portable as well, here's another one to consider. I have two of these 10 inch fans on my boat and place them wherever they are needed. They put out quite a bit of air too.

They have rechargeable batteries so you can place them anywhere with no cord..........or you can plug them into your 12volt DC power plug...............or you can plug them into an AC power source where they will operate and recharge as well. I use ours in the cabin as well as the cockpit. The fan also pivots up and down making it very versatile. We bought ours at Wal Mart in their sporting goods area. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5533603

12 volt fan autozone, and it oscillates. $7.95, WALMART and most auto places. Hooked it to pole with a hose clamp.
