Add front speakers 176BR

I am wanting to add front speakers to my 2001 176BR. I remember vaguely seeing a picture somewhere on the forums of a similar 176 with front speakers added. I have searched for days and cannot seem to find them or the thread again. Has anyone done this if so can you tell me some information about the project...
What size speakers? How did you drill the opening? Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 08 175 which has to be similar to yours. It came from the factory with 4 speakers. The back two are on the side panel just in front of the rear jump seats.
The two front speakes are under the dash and glove compartment, where your toes would be. There is a dead space between the front bow seat backrest, and the main cockpit. All speakers are 6-1/2" round.

I did this on my 93 200BR. Im not sure on your bow configuration, but in mine i had a gap between the uphostry and the seat on the front side of the port and stbd consoles. I just marked and cut a hole with a dremel and a roto zip bit. It sounds great and I havent had any problems yet. I'll post some pics when I get home today.
