Busy weekend. We already have made the arch on Sea ray able to go forward We have it on actuators to make it work going forward. The bridge we were trying to get under (by our house) is still there :) but the water has gone up now we can't get under it with the arch forward so I'm having to re engineer it to go backwards. (This will give us an extra foot of clearance) 1st pictures are it hinged forward. the rest are the new work that is is in process i am doing to go backwards.(I gain another foot of clearance) I have the hinges installed now have to re set up actuators to work an entirely different way

I imagine you're properly addressing the rain gods at this point? With the current forecast for July-August you're in a tight spot! What a year we're having. As noted by your submerged dock. Ughh...

One thought (you may have already addressed this) on your hinge - If built like my 99 the flooring below the arch connection is plywood, no glass. Consider massively over-reinforcing that floor connection for the ram if you want a really long life. I had one pull out on my 99 and it was a bit of a PITA to repair.

Maybe also consider putting some kind of rubber seal between the arch and the gunwale surface. Rainwater really, really loves that joint.

My two cents only of course.

Had a seal on the forward hinge set up I took it off to re do then I will put new on it.

Yea most of our dock is underwater. I have actually seen it worse here about 24 years ago it was a few inches higher. Have also seen it 5 feet lower
