I have a 2012 Sea Ray 450 Express. The ACR spotlight on the bow, Model RCL-100D, intermittently works. The keypad at the helm beeps when I push the rotation wheel or the on/off button but the light doesn't come on or move. I know there is a controller between the keypad and light but don't know where it's located. Anyone have any troubleshooting ideas on what might be causing this or how to test the key pad or controller?
See pictures of keypad and OM page on controller.
Thanks,
John

I can't help you with the diagnosis, but can refer you to a knowledgeable outfit. I had a problem with my spotlight. Sent these guys the control unit and the light, they repaired (horizontal motor), refurbished and returned good as new for about 300 bucks. http://www.lbharveymarine.com/

You should find the controller on the wall in the anchor locker. Their is a coaix cable that connects the keypad to the controller, check those connections first sometimes they come loose. Next check for power on the control box.

Thanks if I can’t find a loose wire I’ll try them.

Thanks OC I didn’t look in the rode locker. I’ll check it out and let you know.
