i have an older Achilles that was well taken care of but the rubber keepers all need to be replaced. i cannot seem to figure out how to completely remove the valve to replace them. you cannot simply stretch a new one over the base of the valve. for clarity, i am not referring to removing the core to deflate a section but rather i need to remove the entire valve to replace the part that prevents you from losing the cap or core.
thanks for the help. Achilles is no help and the local dealer says "bring it in and we'll fix it". i have no time for that and refuse to pay for a 5 second job

seriously? nobody has replaced one?
