I am changing my impeller and had the drive in forward . Engine off of course and accidentally put my hand on the prop. Everything's still all bolted together and when it put my hand out to get up the spun forward and it clicked am I ok still

So is what I'm trying to say is the boat is not running I went into the cockpit put the gear lever in forward went to drain my oil take the plugs out and when I got back up my hand hit the prop it spun forward once and clicked is that going to be a problem

Cant imagine why that would be an issue. Put it back in neutral and see if it spins normally. The click was the gears just nesting since you put the engine in forward drive.

Alpha engagement dog will click or "ratchet" if turned opposite of driven position. This is worsened if the cable isn't adjusted just right to allow full engagement.

It was fully engaged.i hope I didn't hurt anything

Got drive off to change impeller and gimble is frozen. Will replace this week. Thanks

Gimble bearing was very hard to turn and it's a rough turning so my mechanics just going to go ahead and replace it I get that out of the way there was a tad of moisture in there hope it was from the bell housing seal

Check your bellows, too. If even close to being old, I would change that, too, while in there. (and your alignment)

Alignment was spot on except bearing was messed up
