Re: 280 Sundancer 2002
I have a Gen II cool fuel box that has a small fuel leak. I tried to take the cover off the box to see f I can see where it's leaking from. It's really really tight to get into. I can't even take the cover off. The power steering hoses are in the way. Can I even remove the cover without disconnecting the PS hoses ? Is there any other trick?
Is it even practical to attempt to fix a leak while the box in still in the boat ? I looked at the parts diagram and I'm wondering if I should just disconnect the whole unit and get it out. But i f I do that, how would I pressurize it to see where the leak is coming from ??
Thanks
