I have a 05 320 Sundancer and want to add some aux. lights and use the acc switches on the starboard panel. I stuck my head under the helm but it looks like I have to pull the panel out to find the connector to the individual switches.

Is there and easier way to plug into the accessory spare switches???

No, sorry you need to dig into the wiring loom coming out of the EIM. There will be a wire stub there. It is power controlled by the breaker in the EIM.

I have a 2005 340 so my experiance is with this boat but i assume the 320 is wired similarly because you have the same switch pads as i do. The "Acc 1" button is wired to the forward electronic interface modular. It is mount behind the panel at the base of the helm. The "Acc 2" button is wired to the aft electronic interface modular mounted on the wall at the front of the bilge. Both of these switches control a wire lead coming out of the interface modual and are terminated with about 1-2 ft of wire and a crimp connector on the end. If you look at a wiring diagram of your boat it will tell you the number of the lead and the corresponding lead will be labeled with a white tag. You would use the Acc 1 if the new circuit you want to add makes more sense to tie in at the helm or use Acc 2 if it makes more sense to tie in the bildge area. For example I tied my transom under water lights to my Acc 2 because it was easier to tie that circuit into the bilge. These circuits are breaker protected in the electronic interface module.

Scott, I simply tapped into the wires in my cockpit lights and used the "Arch" and "CKPT" switches separately. I have white LED's firing up, wired to the Arch button, and i have Blue LED's firing down wired to the CKPT button. Hope that helps a little.

Thanks for the replays. Guess I should have explained a bit better what the aux light is for. I have LED white in the arch and LED blue for the cockpit but wanted to add a red LED to the arch for some lighting during a night run without running the whites.

I did the same on my 320 .i agree with Jeremy, the wire is numbered and was in the wire chase in the engine room. Just look for the wire that just ends with nothing except a butt connector.
