Ac reading LO?

Was the campground ok with this?

I assume the side of your boat had water shooting out the thru hull all night, going thru many gallons of water and leaving a big wet mess.

Yeah, it would have made a real mess. Nobody would be happy about that would they?

Steritech - This is the second thread that you have started asking the same question. When you tell us that your boat is "Between Boats" and the engine is "Boatless", you are not helping much. What are the specifics on your boat? Does it have a generator? If so, does A/C work okay with genny running? FC3 has already told you that low input voltage will cause an increased current draw which will damage the compressor, therefore the unit will automatically shut down to protect itself. Start giving some specifics and maybe someone can help you. It is still my hunch that the service being provided by your marina is the problem.

I know I answered this question yesterday. You can ignore all of the above responses because they are wrong.

AC LO means low input voltage. The system is shutting down to protect the compressor from damage due to low operating voltage. When voltage goes down, current goes up, causing overheating and damage.

PS LO means low refrigerant pressure. In reverse cycle heat mode when there is no, or low water flow, there is not enough heat to vaporize the liquid refrigerant causing a low pressure condition that trips the low-pressure cut-out.

In cooling mode with poor water flow you get PS HI. There the head pressure trips the high pressure switch because there is insufficient cooling of the high pressure refrigerant from the compressor in the condenser coil.

Best regards,
Frank
