So I hadn't been down the the boat in almost 2 weeks and I left the AC units all in dehunidify mode... Like I always do...

Went to check on her Friday, and the units were flashing...

AC
then
LO

Shut off and turned back on and seemed to work fine... Got to boat yesterday and same issue...

Any thoughts?

I had the same thing years ago. It was low on freon. It also meant there was a leak in the system (something the dealer didn't want to accept and just had it "topped up"). Took the unit out and to a rad shop, they found the leak by removing the electrical components and immersing the unit in water while pressurizing. The leak was at a soldered joint and fixed and all good.

On my system, lo ac means your operating voltage (shore power) fell below 100 volts for 3 minutes, causing a safety shutdown. I have this happen sometimes in the heat of summer when everyone on the dock has the ac on high.

That's a good thought... I'll ask my marina if they had any electrical problems.. Thanks guys

Same here, I've had the AC/LO issue at my dock also... we have some wonky power from time to time. I don't think much of it, think it only happened once this year, if you see it very frequently I'd talk to the marina to see if they can trouble shoot the shore power circuit for you (on the dock, not your boat).

That makes me feel better... Thanks!

So I'm having the problem again... Only at a certain marina early hours in the morning... I thought it was low tide causing muck to be pulled in, but the strainers are clean.. And it only happens once a day and we all know low tide is twice, so I don't know...Ran the fan all night without a problem.. It's only when compressor is on..

Can someone fill me in on how to check the dock power... I guess that's why it runs for about 3 minutes and keeps kicking off... It's always same time of night...

Check the volt meter on the panel when it happens. If it's low voltage, it should be obvious.

Cruisair has a safety shutoff at 105 volts. If you look at your main panel you should be able to read the voltage coming in. We have struggled all summer. Our marina keeps expanding, but hasn't expanded the electrical. I keep having to switch the shore power cords to the line that has the most power.

I had this issue in the last year. My issue was a bad controller in one of my isoboost transformers. But, once the electrical supply was fixed, I had to do a factory reset on each of my Cruisair control panels to clear the problem. I forget the key sequence, but it's in the manual.

I have that here. The brakers keep tripping. Then the tell you it's your boat because they are to cheep to fix the dock.

You can recall the error codes to make sure you are dealing with the correct problem. If you have a Passport controller try this procedure:

To view the service history log turn off the AC power and press the Fan Button. With the Fan Button pressed turn on the AC power. Once Power On Reset is completed (display indicates “888” and all LEDs are lit) release the Fan Button.
The display will flash the most recent fault detected, followed by the event chronology number. To view other events detected press either the Up or Down Buttons.

Thanks for the advice... I'm going to see what they say about their electric, but we all know what trey are going to tell me
