ac/dc, shorepower, batteries-advice for 2001 270 sundancer

I read the other posts on shorepower. I have a 2001 270. When I hook up to shorepower, the only light that works on ac with all the shorepower breakers on is the light over the stove/galley area. All other lights and radio do not work. Fridge and Micro work. Do I need to leave the battery switch on also? I do have a charger on board
