My CruiseAir AC cuts off intermittently, code HI PS, however plenty of cooling water is exiting the boat(I did clean the inlet strainer too).

My thought it is a faulty trigger switch since sometimes the AC will run for 10 minutes , sometimes an hour or more before the error code HI PS.

If I set the temp low so compressor stays on all the time and if AC keeps running then that would determine if the trigger switch is the problem ? What do you think ?

Hi PS is typically not enough water flow. You may see water coming out, but it's not enough. Take hose off outlet from pump, get a fitting from local hardware store and flush with dock water. That will probably fix your problem.

I use a nozzle like this to blow out my lines when needed:

There have been a lot of high pressure cut out switches fail.
They just unscrew off a schrader valve so you won’t loose any freon. Can get at any hvac supply store

I had the same thing. Sometimes it would run all night, other times it wouldn't last very long (TWSS). Mine was the trigger. If the other units were running, it would be good (three units share 1 pump). When they wouldn't, it would HI PS.

Check your air filter screen also, lack of air flow will also cause issues. When is the last time you did a barnacle buster flush?
