AC Converter

Hi guys
what does this actually do?? Do you need to leave it off or on?
Sorry for the silly question but my manual doesn't really say. Thanks in advance

Turns on the battery charger.
You should have the newer smart charger and with that said...
I would leave it on.

Just check the water level in the batteries and you should be good to go.

What is a good test to determine that the converter is charging the batteries while on shore power? Voltage above 12VDC at the batteries?
