AC converter issues

I was down at the boat today ( 2000 310DA) and I plugged it in to top off the batteries. When I turned on the AC converter switch on the panel, it immediately switched off. Did it twice, same thing. Panel is showing AC power flowing and green polarity light is on. This seemed to happen over the summer when I was plugged in during a rain storm. Have I cooked my charger? Thanks.

Check the power cord high resistance could cause the breaker to trip

Check the power cord high resistance could cause the breaker to trip

What am I checking for? What would cause high resitance?

If the breaker is immediately tripping that often indicates a dead short somewhere.
