i have a 30 Amp three battery charger converter---model Inteli-Power Marine PD 2130. I think this is standard Sea Ray equipment.
It is not putting out power and needs to be replaced ( both i and dealer checked it--it has AC power in but no power out). My local dealer is recommending , strongly, going to a Xantrex True charge 40.
They say it is much better. I have looked at on-line reviews and this unit and company seem to have terrible reviews.
Any one have experience with these or have a recommendation for a different one?
As a second issue they also recommended I consider a combo converter/inverter. I have some interest in this but they recommended another Xantrex product--Prosine 2000. It seemed to also have terrible reviews.
Thanks

I would strongly recommend Guest chargers. They replaced my 11 year old convertor with out question. It has a standard 2 or 3 year warranty. They even paid the over night shipping. Mine a 3 bank charger and one bank had dropped to 11.7 volt output. Great unit, but more important is the customer service. Could not ask for anything more then a great product with a great service department.

I like my Promariner very much.. good product, good service people..

I second the eBay factory rebuilt chargers. I had a friend just install a rebuilt ProMariner 50 amp and he loves it. Great units.
