A few key points they make, if you don't want to watch the whole thing:
1. The data is actually showing that this Covid is looking more and more like a bad flu season in terms of actual mortality and even infection. They do agree that it seems to be more infectious than influenza
2. Continued lock down of the economy is not indicated by the numbers when compared to economies that did not lock down. Infection rates and death rates are very similar.
3. Does not make sense to quarantine the healthy, rather quarantine the vulnerable and ill.
4. The negative affects to society other than financial are beginning to show up in domestic abuse, child abuse, suicide, chemical dependence, alcoholism and immune system weakening due to all the hyper disinfecting everyone is doing. It is killing the good germs we use every day to keep our immune systems healthy.
We need more heathy members of the herd to become infected sooner than later in order to build herd immunity.
5. If we are waiting for the magic Vaccine as though that will be the 100 percent indication that we are all going to be "safe" we are delusional. Only 50% or so of citizens even take the influenza vaccine each year anyway. What make anyone think we will all be lining up for a new Covid 19 Vaccine?
They bring up big questions as to the underlying reasons this is all being done from a political position. They also bring up the fact that although Dr. Fauci is a world class epidemiologist he has not actually practiced medicine in 20 years. These guys are boots on the ground guys seeing what is actually happening.
It is an interesting piece to watch.
If I had my way I'd be back in my class room hangar, no frickin mask, finishing up the semester. I've got 11 students finishing their 3 year course of study to be certified aircraft mechanics and I will likely have to give them incompletes and the way our program works they won't be able to repeat the subject areas they missed until spring of 2022.
Its about time to pick up pitch forks and lanterns and have a come to Jesus meeting with town hall!
Cheers everyone
Carpe Diem
