    A. The first sheet is closer for you to grab and not stuck against the cabinet/wall. If someone installs it like B I have to change it. One of my many things.....
wow 2 pages of responses on TP installs. It’s January all right.

A is the only way, I had to correct this several times when first married, 47 years ago and still married, and she finally admitted I was correct. On seat up or down we have a rule, everybody puts the seat in the position that is most comfortable for what they are about to do and then leave it that way as there is a 50% chance the next person might want it in that same position and we all know comments are 67.5% more believable when they contain percentages

By my reckoning there is a 100% chance the seat should be down. 50% for her / 25% for you. Add ~25% because she says so, and the math works out to about 100% down.

I mentioned this thread to the Admiral. It resulted in a couple of questions and a couple of observations.

    Questions:
On one way being more hygienic than the other - Compared to where you are about to put it?
On one way is more economical - If I switch to the economical mode, how many rolls will I have to hang before I save a dime?

    The two statements:
"The only important thing is to never run out"
And concerning this thread even exists, "You kids need help"

    Thats my girl :p

This has a simple answer. Its not about sanitary, its not about what Miss Manners or Julia Childs says what to do, its what makes the most sense.

In one case the paper has more tendency to tear before you get the right length out. In the other case its just more trouble.

In the case of post #19, that's how we have it in our outhouse at our mountain cabin. Once again, it's what's practical. In that case sticking a dowel in the wall was the best way.

Now, to more important topics, what't the best SS propeller for me to buy...

Wow.. It comes down to this...It's gonna be a long winter. The Answer is (A). You always know where the end is. The other way it's like finding the end on a roll of packing tape. You could spin the role 10x the wrong way before you find it also.
