We've never been there - first trip. Looking forward to it - if the weather cooperates - we plan to leave Friday and return to Chickamauga on Sunday. Hopefully the locks won't have too much commercial traffic...

Looks like our planned trip is a wash out. I never like to cancel on "forecast weather", but it's not looking good for a Friday departure from Chattanooga to Goose Pond. 2 - 4 inches of rain and flood warnings for Thurs and Friday... Maybe a Saturday departure...
