Born on vets day 7lbs, 11 oz and 20 inches long. My son and his wife are still "discussing" a name. That makes 3 grandkids for me, but this is the first grandson!

Congrats! Now to get him some sea legs.

Congrats on the new grandson, we only have one grandson he just turned 7, it's a real joy taking them for a couple days to spoil them give them whatever they want then take them home to let the parents deal with a sugared up kid who wants everything. Nothing like a little pay back. They grow up to quick he asked for a laptop for Christmas the other day, he already has an Ipad it's amazing how quick they understand all the new technology he showed me how to fix the Logitech remote the other day.

Congrats!!!

Well the name is Oliver Austin! Oliver from mom's side and Austin from my mom's uncle who was killed in a tank battle in North Africa during WWII. Quite fitting I think as he was born on veterans day...

Now Papa has to come up with a nickname and I do like "salty"

Congrats... Now we need to find him a SeaRay onesy and just to make the world smaller, my grandfather whom I'm named after, sat off the coast of North Africa and shelled the fleet and coastal areas before the landings there
