I am fortunate to get to run a lot of different boats for my dealer. I don't think your risk is so much in slipping as it is in trying to move about on cramped decks littered with obstructions. Therefore, I have the perfect solution........trade up to a bigger boat with ample walkways and access to the forward deck. Here is an example of an uncluttered access (except for my daughter and her friends):



You'd almost have to work at it to fall off this boat.

Yes i was....i had a pair i bought at W.M. but found out they were for walking in the water to avoid rocks and sharp objects
Soooo i'm still shopping
