My Dad and I went 50/50 on a 1994 Sea Ray Sundancer. We looked for a long time and came across this little beauty. It has the single engine with 270 hours and only 170 on the generator. We were hesitant on going with the single, but it seems to do the job just fine. Overall we love the boat and are excited to be apart of the Sea Ray family.

Very nice...enjoy it!

Congrats and enjoy. She looks very nice. There is nothing like spending time on the boat with your Dad. My Dad started with me at about 5 years old. I guess he didnt want me to have any money either

Beautiful boat but your video made me seasick. :smt101

Enjoy the time with your Dad.

SEA SICK:huh:
ME TOO.... NICE BOAT ENJOY, THANKS FOR SHARING:thumbsup:

Check out Quint4's boat and look at the swim platform he installed. That would be perfect for your boat! It looks like your Dad was holding on pretty tight once he got up the ladder and this would give you tons of added space.

Thank you very much everyone. Thanks for the tip "Wingin It" I'll check out the swim platform. Yeah, He was holding on pretty tight. It would be nice to have a larger swim platform. I called PDQ Marine at Lake of the Ozarks and they want $3,000.00 for a swim platform. I would love to have one, but that’s a lot of money for 2x9 feet, $166.66 a square foot. Ouch!

Very nice! Looks like it's in great shape. I think you made a great choice, but I may be just a bit biased.

Contact Scott Samuelson at Swim Platforms, Inc. www.swimplatforms.com My platform 39" x 11' and did not cost that much.

In fact this link http://swimplatforms.contentpros.ne...ay/SeaRay290Sundancer/tabid/2719/Default.aspx
will show you pictures of '94 290.

Ask them for a quote and tell them you heard about them on Club Sea Ray.

very nice. my dad and I did same thing on a 280DA back in '90. i then bought out his half when he moved up to a 310/330 a couple years later. I ended up buying that one from him too. it was great boating with dad & mom--hope you have as much fun as I did.

of course i have him to thank for that monthly pymt, slip fee, insurance, fuel, maintenance, fuel, endless list of boat stuff you gotta have, and fuel.

My platform was $2300 delivered. (Arizona to Ohio)

She looks like she's in great shape. Enjoy her and the time with your Dad (as much as you can) on your boat.

Thanks again, everyone.

I actually got a quote from Swimplatforms and yes, they are cheaper. They gave me a quote of around $2,000 delivered, except I would never trust myself enough to put it on. I would leave this job to the professionals. PDQ Marine said they would charge me $3,000 for the complete job. That’s with them taking the boat out of the water and handling everything. So, $3,000.00 probably isn't that bad of a deal.

Except the swimplatform will have to wait. I just found out that we have a slow leak in the transom and we need to pull the boat to fix it. No idea how much it’s going to cost. DARN...
