I got a 69.7% on the test. Give it a try and see how you do:

This is really good as it tests your memory re those high school civics/American History classes & practical knowledge of how our government is set up.

As noted below, college professors averaged 55% on this test; the test site notes that average Americans scored 49%. How did you do?

You can note your score next to "Civics Test" in the subject line when you forward it on if you wish. If you do, BCC the sender, too.

A Tough Test

This test is not supposed to be an easy one.
The website reports that college professors average about 55%. Isn't that odd?
Go ahead.... Click below and have some fun!

Very interesting! Take the test and after you finish, click on the word “table” to read the statistics of the scores of public office holders and non-office holders. Pretty astonishing.

Has anyone clicked on the "table" at the end of the test to see what the scores were for public office holders vs non public office holders? If so, what were the results?

Very interesting test but surprising at the results by educative, 55% is way too low. I missed a few but I have to admit I did guess on a few. Common sense can get you more than 55%.

27/33 and I'm not an American.

You answered 15 out of 33 correctly — 45.45 %. :wow:

I guess that's why they called me a dumba$$ truck driver.

81.84%.....supprised even myself, must be because I'm old......and not all that surprised that the general public does not do better.

You answered 27 out of 33 correctly — 81.82 %

Probably better than I would have done when I was in school.

Sad to think our educators only scored 55% and the average score for Americans was only 49%.

29 out of 33.

I really wonder about the segment that took that test. What I would like to see is how people who actually vote on a regular basis scored.

+1. When I go to vote I only see professionals or elderly. Few if any are from my generation. My job brings me to organizations and government offices all over DC and it scares me to see how out of touch with the reality of our history many of theese people are. They only believe the rewritten history they are taught in the PC public schools or the internet.

I got 27 correct. Looking over the questions I got wrong- I am ticked I didn't get them right.

32 out of 33 = 96% Sure glad i paid attention in my government class...
Thanks for sharing...

Nice. Not surprised by the public ignorance. It is troubling that so few (under 50%) can define "Free Enterprise" and "Profit". MM

You answered 29 out of 33 correctly — 87.88 % While also watching football game.

Screw that test it means nothing !!. :smt021. Knowing that crap didn't make me any money.

I made it on my driving skills for 33yrs.

Just saying without starting a pi$$ing match with anyone. :smt001

Mike, you aren't supposed to put the answers up. Geez!!
I should have set this up with a poll so that everyone could report their scores to see how we did as a group in bar graph form.
I would imagine that, as a group, we did pretty good
It is great to see that so many people took the test.
