Ok, I've organized a cruise to rendezvous and raise some money to fight cancer. April 16th we will be at Roche harbor.

Get your reservations at http://rocheharbor.com/Marina.html

Contact Troy or Kevin @ marina@rocheharbor.com or call 800.586.3590 to make your future reservations. Tell them that you're with the Relay for life group.

Moorage rates through Roche are $.85/ft right now, but we're requesting a $1/ft on top of your moorage fee to be donated to Relay for Life (we'll collect at Roche). We'd will have a tent Roche is donating with a grill and we'd like to encourage those to bring a dish for a potluck.
We hope to make this a fun event and look forward to meeting everyone face to face and raise some money for a great cause.

At the dinner we will be auctioning a gift card worth $250.00 for Roche Harbor.
We appreciate their help on this and look forward to creating a huge gathering.

PM me with any further information you may need.

Ok Update: We have a few items that have been donated for a silent auction to raise some more funds.
Silent Auction items:
  • San Juan Island Outfitters: 1 pair of Kayaking passes
  • Domoniques Home Decor Store: Gift certificate
  • Whale Museum: Passes and an ORCA Adoption
  • Susie's Mopeds: Two moped rentals for the day
  • Crabhouse in Friday Harbor: two free lunches or dinners, each with a drink of choice at the Valid for our 2011 season (F/Sat/Sun) April or May (depending on weather), and go through September 18, 2011
  • Roche Harbor: $250 gift certificate

...possibly more to come

So who's coming?

Hey Todd, how do you donate without going to the event! I'm afraid if I come with the Admiral to the PNW she'll start growing out her Hair in hidden places and that would make me very very ANGRY!

Thanks for the donation Marshall. I'll thank you on the Relay site as well. BTW, you don't have to worry too much about the long braided underarm hair. I think that's an Oregon thing.

Still looking for more boaters. We'd love to have as many as we can

See above and make sure Troy has you reserved. We're trying to get an accurate headcount.

Thanks

It looks like the weather is going to play nice. We'd love to have more boats so if you're interested, please call Roche and let me know if you can make it. There are lots of items up for auction and a good time should be had.
