I'm getting a code on the a/c panel stating low water pressure. Thru hull fitting open. Sea water strainer clean.
I unscrewed the inlet pump fitting and temporarily attached a low pressure garden hose. Cold air filled the cabin, and no fault code.
So, Sur enough, it appears I have no pressure at the inlet pump.
Question- Can it be repaired or best to replace? :smt100
The pump itself was operating, just apparently not producing any suction.
If it wasn't for the garden hose, we wouldn't have been able to stay the night over the 4th.

AC pumps are not pressure pumps, they just move water. If you keep your boat out of the water, it's losing prime. Some people are successful shooting water in the outlet on the side of the hull. If that doesn't work, you may have to pull the hose of the outlet side of the pump until water starts to flow.

Yup, AC pumps are mounted below the water line of the boat because, the don't suck at all.
